BOHEMIA Cares will host a free movie screening of Disney’s Little Mermaid on Thursday, June 29 at 7:30 pm at a Little Rock area movie theatre. Thanks to a partnership with the Southern Black Girls and Women’s Consortium of Selma, Alabama, ninety-five BLACK girls ages 8 through 17 will view the movie, be photographed, participate in giveaways, compete in a mermaid costume contest, and fellowship in a positive and empowering environment while displaying #blackgirljoy.
